If you’re looking for a cozy cabin getaway, look no further than the Pioneer Lodge. Nestled in the forest, this charming stay is here to help you relax and recharge. Take a hike through the woods, soothe your muscles in the hot tub, or simply curl up with a good book by the fire. No matter how you choose to spend your time, you’ll appreciate the comfy beds and peaceful atmosphere of the cabin. It’s the perfect place to clear your head and recharge your batteries.
BEDROOMS
Upstairs is the King bed accompanied with a trundle daybed with 2 twin mattresses. There is a half-bathroom as well with a wall AC/Heater unit.
Downstairs bedroom contains a Queen bed with a ceiling fan and wall AC/Heater unit. An iron and ironing board are located in the closet should you need it.
The downstairs living area contains generous seating and a sunroom, with some provided board games and space to gather together.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully stocked with most things you’ll need, from cooking utensils to small appliances like a microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker and drip coffee pot. We even have a slow cooker if you want to cook something while you’re out all day. Plenty of dishes and table settings for the 4-6 people staying. We do not have a dishwasher, so consider bringing disposable products if you wish. There is a garbage disposal, but be aware of what goes down the drain as the cabin is on a septic system.
Equipped with high-speed WIFI, you can log into your streaming accounts or play free movies through the Roku App on all our Smart Tv’s located in the bedrooms and living room.
Hot Tub
The hot tub is located out the sliding door on the deck with plenty of towels for your use. It is cleaned and chemically treated after each guest. Use caution when enjoying the hot tub and be aware of the posted rules for your safety. You will also notice plenty of chairs on the deck and a charcoal grill for your use.
The outdoor fire pit is located behind the cabin in an open space area. Utilize the outdoor lighting and provided firewood, but also use caution with fire in the woods.
*You may see/hear critters and/or bears in the woods so be sure to place trash in the bear proof containers.
* Gravel Road: There is a gravel road to access the property that’s drivable by all vehicles, but as with all gravel roads – there are some pot holes especially after it rains. The drive way itself is a little steep, but shouldn’t be an issue (unless you’re pulling a trailer). Plenty of space for 2-3 vehicles.
Amenities
We provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, coffee, salt and pepper, oil, toilet paper, paper towels & trash can liners. THINK OF THESE ITEMS AS “STARTER KITS” – We recommend you bring additional items that you feel that you may need. Firewood is provided but charcoal for the grill is not. If other guests leave items like spices or left over charcoal you are more than welcome to use them.
* The full bathroom in the cabin is downstairs, so if anyone in your group will be staying in the upstairs, be prepared to use the shower downstairs.
